About Wilson Effects

I would like to take some time to tell you a little about Wilson
Effects and how Wilson Effects came to be. After searching my
entire life for that one sound, that tone that I always heard but
could never seem to reproduce. Oh and did I mention all the
money I had spent searching? Well, one day I decided that I
was going to sell all of my gear and start from scratch. That
meant that if I was going to do this right I would have to do alot
of research to find those tones that I was seeking. Well all I
can say is thank God for the internet! So with all of todays
modern technology at my fingertips I set out listening to
soundclip after soundclip of pedal after pedal, probably what
some of you are doing now. I joined forums and looked at gear
reviews till my head was spinning. By the time I had found what
I was looking for alot of my gear had been sold and I had
plenty of money to play with and of course I had to have the
most expensive, tone producing pedals that were out there.
Then one day after spending oodles of money on these so
called boutique pedals I thought to myself "self, maybe we can
build some of these pedals" and that is how I became a pedal
pusher.
Now onto the reason I started Wilson Effects. I realized that
not every musician out there has a ton of cash on hand to play
around with after all after splitting up a weekends worth of pay
from Joe's Bar and Grill there really isn't alot left to go around.
So I thought wouldn't it be great if everyone had the chance to
get there hands on all of those killer sounding boutique pedals
at a more affordable price! You know true bypass, modded
tube screamers, wah pedals with output buffers for fuzz and
everything else you could possibly think of. Well I'm trying to
make that dream a reality today not only for me doing
something that I truly love but also for every other musician out
there that wishes they could have a killer pedal at a more
affordable price. Thank you for helping to make my dream a
reality and I hope your quest for tone stops here.

Thanks,
Kevin Wilson
