Now available with 3 Potentiometer Options:​​

  • Dunlop Hot Pots II - Great for players who are accustomed to the throw of newer Dunlop Wahs. These pots are sealed and cannot be cleaned.

  • Smooth Taper - This provides a full Q transition through the range of the pedal. Our wahs have a fairly large throw. This is great for really expressive playing.
     

  • ​ICAR Taper - The Q transition happens mostly at the toe of the pedal. These were developed for the limited sweeps of the older Cry Baby and Vox pedals. Great if you like to sit down while playing or prefer that limited throw.



     

 

The Wilson Wah builds upon the classic vintage wah circuit with thoughtful modifications that enhance bass response at the input, creating a thick, full-bodied sound. A standout feature is the Growl Control, which adds a scratchy, throat-like texture or can be dialed back for a smoother tone. Combined with other on-the-fly adjustments, this wah offers a level of flexibility that sets it apart from traditional designs. Straight out of the box, it delivers a fat, spongy tone, with the ability to fine-tune a wide range of wah sounds.

External Controls:

  • Sweep Range: Adjusts the depth of the sweep. Fully clockwise maximizes the effect, while fully counterclockwise minimizes it.

  • Q Selector Switch: A 12-position switch that fine-tunes the wah’s tonal character, from dark and warm (clockwise) to bright and sharp (counterclockwise).

  • Growl: Shapes the bass and gain response. Turning it clockwise thins out the tone (excessive thinning may lower volume), while counterclockwise settings produce a thicker, darker sound.

Internal Adjustments:

Inside, two blue trimmer controls offer further customization:

  • Top Trimmer: Adjusts the midrange response.

  • Bottom Trimmer: Controls the overall volume output.

  • Carbon composition resistors and BC109B transistors for authentic response

  • Built-in fuzz buffer for seamless compatibility with fuzz and overdrive pedals

The Wilson Wah operates on a standard 2.1mm center-negative power supply or a high-quality alkaline battery. Every pedal is hand-built in the U.S.A. and comes with a one-year warranty on parts and labor.
